EndedZoom Conference Call

Service Description

This interactive and child-friendly course empowers students with the knowledge and tools to make smart financial decisions through an introduction to personal investing, the stock market, and long-term wealth-building strategies. Students will learn how the stock market operates, what indices like the Dow Jones represent, and how to analyze investment opportunities. The course also explores key concepts like risk, return, diversification, and the basics of building a personal investment portfolio. Through engaging activities, simulations, and real-world examples, students will gain confidence in managing their money and planning for financial success. Through hands-on cooking and mentorship, students will explore the business side of food—from menu creation and food cost to branding and storytelling. The course culminates in a Chopped-style virtual competition and business pitch, where students will showcase their culinary creations AND present their business ideas to a panel of guest chefs and judges. Whether they dream of launching a food truck, opening a restaurant, or creating a product line, this course equips kids with the skills, creativity, and confidence to lead in the kitchen—and in business. Objectives: By the end of this course, students will be able to: - Brainstorm and refine a unique business idea - Develop a basic but solid business plan - Build a brand identity (name, logo, mission, etc.) - Create and deliver compelling presentations - Pitch confidently to sponsors and investors - Engage with and receive feedback from business professionals - Collaborate, think critically, and solve real-world problems - Explore and identify multiple sources of revenue for a business (e.g., product sales, services, subscriptions, sponsorships, and digital monetization strategies). Note: Additional tools and materials will be required for this course. The listed total is the full price for all courses combined.
